A release note from April 2025 from Logan:

A little over fourteen months ago, my wife and I got the most amazing news: We’re going to be parents. I can’t even begin to describe the feelings I felt that morning. Excitement first and foremost, overwhelming gratitude and thankfulness second. The next nine months that followed had their share of challenges, but we knew, every step of the way, it would be worth it once we got to hold our baby in our hands. Pretty quickly in the process we found out we were having a baby girl, Blair Carly Ann. We were overjoyed.

Over the last year I’ve been working on music pretty much every day, even with a newborn, she’s been in the studio with me all the time. Having this little tiny human on my lap or on the floor next to me while I work, is the most beautiful inspiration. A few months ago, I began to write and plan my seventh album: “Smile”.

I worked on it late at night after my 9-5, and early in the mornings before my wife woke up and my dad + husband duties began, as well as during the day with my daughter by my side. Most of these songs, I wrote in less than a week, and produced the instrumentals in less than a month. The entire project came together in less than 8 weeks. It was magic.

To my fellow parents out there, I hope you and your family enjoy this project.

To my girls, I love you both so much. I’m so lucky to have you in my life. You two are my Light.
